The exact services provided will be agreed between AG Web Consultants and the client before work begins.

2. Website Design and Development

Before starting a project, we will discuss your requirements, goals, preferred style, content requirements, and any specific features needed.

We will create a website based on the information and materials provided by you. You are responsible for ensuring that all information, images, logos, and content supplied to us are accurate and that you have permission to use them.

We are not responsible for delays caused by missing information, late feedback, or failure to provide required materials.

3. Project Timeline

Estimated completion times will be provided before work begins. These timelines are estimates and may change depending on:

  • The complexity of the project

  • The speed of client feedback

  • Availability of required content or materials

  • Additional requests made during the project

We will communicate any significant delays wherever possible.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information required to complete the project

  • Provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe

  • Review and approve website content before publication

  • Ensure all provided materials comply with applicable laws

Delays caused by the client may result in changes to the agreed completion date.

5. Payments

Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • A deposit may be required before project commencement

  • Remaining balances must be paid before the website is published or transferred to the client

  • Monthly services must be paid in advance

Failure to make payments on time may result in suspension of services.

6. Revisions and Changes

We include a reasonable number of revisions within website projects to ensure the final product meets the agreed requirements.

Requests that significantly change the original project scope may incur additional charges.

Examples of additional work may include:

  • Additional pages

  • New functionality

  • Major design changes

  • Additional integrations

  • New content creation

Any additional costs will be discussed and agreed before work continues.

7. Hosting, Maintenance and Support

If you purchase ongoing website maintenance or support services, these will be provided according to the agreed package.

Maintenance services may include:

  • Website updates

  • Content changes

  • Technical support

  • Security checks

  • Performance monitoring

We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party providers, hosting companies, software updates, or services outside our control.

8. SEO and Results

We provide SEO services and recommendations intended to improve online visibility.

However, we cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, leads, or revenue increases.

Search engine performance depends on many factors outside our control, including competition, algorithms, website history, and industry demand.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Either party may request cancellation of a project or service.

Deposits paid for work already started may be non-refundable as they cover time and resources allocated to the project.

If a client cancels after work has begun, payment 50% is still be required for completed work and expenses incurred.

10. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content, branding, images, and materials that you provide.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to use any materials supplied to us.

We are not responsible for copyright issues arising from materials provided by the client.

11. Limitation of Liability

AG Web Consultants will make reasonable efforts to provide high-quality services. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Loss of business, revenue, profits, or opportunities

  • Issues caused by third-party services

  • Website downtime outside our control

  • Incorrect information supplied by the client

Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant service.

12. Website Security

We take reasonable steps to create secure websites. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Clients are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and access details after ownership or access has been transferred.

13. Third-Party Services

Websites may include third-party services such as:

  • Hosting providers

  • Booking systems

  • Payment providers

  • Analytics platforms

  • Plugins and software integrations

These services may have their own terms and conditions, and AG Web Consultants is not responsible for changes, failures, or interruptions caused by third parties.

14. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any private business information shared during the project.

This does not include information that is publicly available or required to be disclosed by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.

Any disputes relating to these Terms and Conditions will be handled under the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
